用掉了「有等於沒有的寒假」開頭兩小時,
看完了髮膠明星夢2007電影版.
不太記得當初花蓮究竟有沒有上映了,
不過現在影城是把它當二輪片在放映的樣子,
但考量到影音品質堪慮的設備,
最後還是選擇在自己的106吋投影幕上,
以DTS音軌享受這部耳朵眼睛和情緒都忙碌不已的有趣作品.
某次Roxie程來訪,
(該不會就是她在北濱海邊弄丟一台AR的那次吧!)
夜裡她把ipod接上了我的Harman Kardon AVR-335,
我第一次聽見了"Good Morning Baltimore"、"Nicest Kids In Town"等充滿奔放活力的音樂,
不過那晚實在聽了太多首,
腦海中只留下Roxie程對這齣音樂劇的大力讚揚.
不久後得知Hairspray電影版的消息,
雖然宣傳重點都放在John Travolta以反串之姿重回歌舞劇上面,
但回想起Roxie程那晚眼裡噴出的火燄,
我便打定主意要到戲院去捧場.
結果忙碌的96年度上學期裡不知怎樣地就過完了,
美版DVD早已發行,
這樣也好,
比起不知長進的花蓮影城,
自己家裡的小喇叭和小螢幕還是比較值得信任.
愉快地看完正片後,
在悅耳的歌曲裡繼續看完也很好看的片尾,
這種美式色塊的動畫實在很對我的味,
初次在Monster's Inc的片頭享受到之後,
這回仍是暢快滿足.
當然,
改編作品勢必會有些更動,
彌勒熊在「新舊版本大不同？【髮膠明星夢】兼談【約翰華特斯之髮膠明星夢】」這篇文章裡有詳細的比較,
但我得承認,
當Queen Latifah站在遊行隊伍前頭,
悠悠唱起"I Know Where I've Been"時,
那股力道還是足以直達腦門掀起滔天巨浪,
我得不停拭淚才能看清楚每一句樸實同時也感人至深的歌詞:
There's a light in the darkness
Though the night is black as my skin

But I know where I've been
There's a cry in the distance

雖然還沒看過百老匯版的,
就算電影新版的確省掉了一些力道十足的橋段,
我還是很願意推薦這部電影;
也許情節過份夢幻,
難關太容易突破,
結局也如你所預期的那般老套而美好,
但在故事說完之後,
胸口那份飽滿到微微脹痛的光明感受實在很難忽略.
觀後摘要:
1. Tracy最後的造型真的很優.
2. Amanda Bynes雖然只是配角卻仍存在感十足, 散發著十足自然的喜感.
3. 我還是覺得James Marsden的鼻孔太會搶戲.
4. Michelle Pfeiffer姐姐演的喜劇怎麼都這麼好看!!(參考資料: Stardust)
最後放上一張我很喜歡的海報,
雖然髮膠在電影裡的意涵被弱化了,
但是用在平面設計上的效果其實還滿不錯的!
